Quiz Night October 2025

On Saturday 11th October our annual quiz took place in the Village Hall in Flaunden.  7 teams made up from Members and Non-Members, equestrians and non-horsey people came together to battle it out to win the prize of 8 bottles of wine and bubbly.

Quiz Master Paul presided over the rounds that included General Knowledge, Music and Sport, and 2 picture rounds including identifying a variety of animals’ rear-ends!  During the half-time interval a wonderful supper of lasagne was provided by Dalling & Co from Kings Langley, who also ran the bar.

At the end of the evening a tie for first place was announced between ‘Help! Send Crisps’ and ‘Deb’s Doughnuts’, with the former taking the win with guessing how many dimples are on a golf ball…….  The evening was completed with a raffle with some lovely prizes that had been donated, and a game of Person Standing by choosing Heads or Tails.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all.
