Welcome To The Chess Valley Bridleways Association

We support horse riders in the Chess Valley area covering Bovingdon, Chenies, Chipperfield, Chorleywood, Croxley Green, Flaunden, Ley Hill, Rickmansworth and Sarratt in South West Hertfordshire.

We are a friendly club, and cater for all levels of abilities. Our aim is to provide good quality, safe affordable horse riding & enjoyment for riders in the Chess Valley area.

Run entirely by volunteers, we work tirelessly campaigning and working with the authorities to improve, restore and create a safe riding environment for riders in the Chess Valley. Funds raised through our membership pay for licensed tracks and upkeep in the area.

From this year it is possible to set up a Standing Order to pay for your membership, as well as via Paypal.  Please look at the Membership page for more information. 

Please Note: as of April 2025 discs will no longer be issued to new members, and we have decided to stop forwarding annual stickers to existing members.
