Events

The CVBA holds an AGM each Spring.  Our next AGM is be held on Tuesday 14th April in a new location, the Parish Room at St Paul’s Church, Chipperfield.  Doors Open at 7pm.  Refreshments will be available.

A new event for 2026 is a Wine Tasting to be held in conjunction with Dalling & Co in the Chipperfield Village Hall on Saturday 11th April 2026.

There is an Annual Quiz.  The date for the quiz this years is Saturday 26th September, 7pm in the Flaunden Village Hall.

In the past there was an annual Open Show with cups and prizes for members – this has been discontinued.

We regularly hold Guided Rides in different parts of our area.  For 2026, we are organising two rides, our Spring Ride is going to be meeting at The Plough Pub in Belsize on Sunday 17th May, parking and refreshments will be available.  We are also organising a Pass Wide and Slow (PWAS) Ride, joining in with a national scheme to remind drivers to be courteous to equestrians sharing roads.  This will be meeting on the Green in Sarratt on Sunday 12th July.

We also run Social Events for members.

Each Christmas holiday we try to hold a guided ride, with mulled wine and mince pies, very dependent on the weather.

In the past we have held quizzes, table top sales and BBQs – suggestions for social events are welcome!  Please contact any of the committee if you have any fund-raising ideas.
