Events

The CVBA holds an AGM each Spring.  Our last one was held on Wednesday 2nd April 2025 at Flaunden Village Hall.  An amazing and inspirational talk was given by the Paris Paralympian, Mari Durward-Akhurst.  She spoke about the trials and tribulations of finding the right ‘dancing partner’ to enable her to make her dream come true, the health battles she has overcome and the dedication she needs to attain and maintain such a high level.  We wish her well in her desire to reach the next Olympics/Paralympics in Los Angeles in 2028.

There is an Annual Quiz, and in the past there was an annual Open Show with cups and prizes for members – this has been discontinued.

We regularly hold Guided Rides in different parts of our area.

We also run Social Events for members.

Each Christmas holiday we hold a guided ride, with mulled wine and mince pies.

In the past we have held quizzes, table top sales and BBQs – suggestions for social events are welcome!
