Ongoing Maintenance To Tracks & Bridleways

As some of you may be aware, the CVBA has been in discussion with Dacorum Borough Council regarding the state of some of the bridleways around Flaunden. Following talks, DBC have agreed to carry out maintenance work with machinery to FD9 & 5, from Long Wood to Flaunden Bottom, and some of the tracks leading to these bridleways. This is currently being undertaken, so we would advise against riding here until further notice.

Unfortunately planned work by DBC to FD10 has had to be postponed due to the finding of nests and fledgeling activity. This will now be carried out later on in the year.

Also, this Sunday a contractor on behalf of the CVBA will be cutting back the hedges on The Narrows, the track that runs along Bucks Hill from Chipperfield, so avoid the area.
